Being a newborn photographer, I get asked a lot how to choose a photographer. When choosing your newborn photographer, you really need to look at their work. Is it the style you like? What are the client reviews? It is really important to talk to your photographer. Do they listen to your ideas? How do you feel when talking to them? Do you want a photographer that has a lot of color in their pictures? Do you want someone who uses props?
The biggest question I get is, do you have a studio or do you go to clients home. I do go to the hospital when asked to do 48 Fresh. But I do prefer to work in my studio in Mesa. People also need to realize the type of shooting people do. My normal shoot will last between 2-3 hours. A shoot will be determined by your little one. If your little one does not like a pose, oh they will let you know. You don't want to find someone who likes to rush. You want someone who will take their time so your little one feels calm and relaxed.
