When trying to calm a baby, sometimes we as parents get anxiety. We panic and we can get upset. We might not say anything, but our children can feel that anxiety. They can sense fear as well. We need to try to stay as calm as we possibly can. I know that is not always easy, but it is true.
When I am doing a newborn shoot parents have asked me how I calm babies. There are a few things I do, but this little Baby Shusher is one of them. This Baby Shusher is not the one I have in my studio, but this is the one my daughter-in-law uses. I have tried this and it works really well. The reason I like this one better than mine is because it has a variety of other sounds on it. You do not need to buy batteries for this one either. You just need to recharge it. The two sounds I love on this machine are the rain and the shushing sound. The Shusher has a 30 minute timer on it, and will turn off. But when a loud noise happens, like baby crying, it will turn back on.
